Algebra II Physics


1.     Explain the activity (3 points)
2.    Went outside and i had a golfball i started at a hight of one meter an tossed a golfball one time straight ahead an the second time up into the air. (one meter = three feet)
     
     Write the general equation for a projectile that is given above (1 pt)
3.     h=-16t^2 + v0t + h0
     
     Find the initial velocity for YOUR two throws (4 pts)
4.    first throw= 11.49    second throw= 13.58
     
     Write the general quadratic equation filling in the initial velocity and height. You should have two. (2 points)
5.    0=-16(.92)^2+11.49+3           0=-16(1.24)^2+13.58+3
     
     Find the time at which the item reached its highest point for each equation. EXPLAIN HOW YOU FOUND IT. (Round to the nearest tenth.) (5 pts)

     Find how high the object went. (Round to the nearest tenth.) EXPLAIN HOW YOU FOUND IT. (5 points
